Woodleaf BioDiesel Innovations, LLC., has been in business since January 2006 and it is family owned and operated. After hurricane Katrina hit and fuel prices soared, we decided it was time to do something. Vaughn had seen a program on television about making biodiesel from used cooking oil. So this sparked quite an interest as we began our months of research on the subject. The more we learned, the more intrigued we became. Who would have thought biodiesel could be so exciting that all we did was talk, eat and sleep it.
We questioned which kind of biodiesel equipment should we look for? We stumbled across the hot water heater tanks that had a single hose and plastic jugs attached to it. This was actually being sold as a home brewer biodiesel machine. The entire setup was pitiful and dangerous! We later checked into the conversion kit which uses WVO/SVO (waste vegetable oil/ straight vegetable oil). This kit cost you about $1,500.00 to install and uses straight vegetable oil. When you start your automobile, you first use petro and after you have driven a few miles, you flip a switch to run on vegetable oil. Then before you cut off the motor, you flip the switch to run petro through the injectors again. If you use this kit, you run glycerin through your fuel injectors. This setup sounds like a lot of trouble and cannot be good for your automobile!

We found a dealer in North Carolina and decided to attend a seminar. By the time the seminar was over, we were absolutely blown away by all the information we gained in only a few hours.
